Another amazing day and tour with our favourite guide KOMANG! :) We were so happy to see him again in this new tour. Tour itself is really nice, with amazing visit to Royal palace and Temple in the North. Nature mixed with cultural points is just stunning! After this we went to Jatiluwih - rice fields and we have never seen something like this. It is unreal!! It really looks like from the postcard.... Finally we have reached Tanah Lot which was beautiful too. Maybe a bit more of driving during whole day, but it was worth it. Thanks to Komang once again we felt very happy, satisfied and comfortable! N&M

Yogi was brilliant. He had a trainee, Cynthie, with him and between the 2 of them, they provided an excellent, educating experience. There were 3 of us booked on the tour and we all had a lot of fun, whilst travelling between the sites. Having a common interest in K Pop between the 5 of us made the tour even more fun. The sites themselves were very beautiful. I can highly recommend Yogi, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Small Group Tour, Trip Guru and Getyourguide. Excellent communication between all parties prior to pickup meant that we knew exactly when we were to be picked up.

  • Jatiluwih (UNESCO Site) 2-Hour E-Bike Cycling Tour

    6. Jatiluwih (UNESCO Site) 2-Hour E-Bike Cycling Tour

This 2-hour e-bike tour begins near the Batukaru Temple and takes you past stunning landscapes to Jatiluwih, where you’ll ride to the center of the site. Led by an experienced local cycling guide, you’ll enjoy knowledgeable commentary about this UNESCO-protected area. The road from Batukaru to Jatiluwih features some beautiful scenery, but is very different from the central Jatiluwih area. Ride the easy-to-use e-bike past dense jungle, giant bamboo forests, local villages, rice terraces and vast valleys. Jatiluwih itself comprises over 300 hectares of lush tropical vegetation and vividly green rice terraces. Following your morning cycling trip you’ll enjoy a tasty authentic Indonesian lunch at a nearby restaurant, or if you opt for the afternoon tour, an extensive Balinese afternoon tea will follow your excursion.

We did the 2hr cycle in early June. This was just as harvesting of the rice had recently commenced. So the lush green paddies were not so lush or green. But this was more than compensated by being amongst the busy harvesting activities. The number of local people in the paddies in conjunction with some at-times narrow paths (plus really sensitive throttles on the electric bikes) made for challenging times. There were a few spills - no major injuries since harvested rice makes for a soft (& dry) landing. Only injuries were to our dignity. Word of warning though... The lunch provided is from a private house in the fields - not a restaurant. Apply your usual cautions when eating meat (here chicken satay) where you have some doubts about its providence My wife did, I didn't. BIG mistake. It tasted great at the time... But spooled what was otherwise a great day. Best bits = the people, the scenery, insights into traditional rice growing. Worst bits = supplied lunch (exercise caution).

The trip was excellent, I really enjoyed the tour. The car was at my hotel exactly at 8:00 and I came back at 17:50 – perfect timing! Many thanks to our driver and guide Tawan: he told us lots of interesting things, provided us free time in the places, he was just fantastic driver during stormy weather conditions. And I strongly recommend you to follow the guide's advice to visit Tanah Lot temple first, because in the morning there are much less people there, while in the evening it could be no sunset at all due to the rain season. All the places in tour are amazing, I was very happy that I had chosen this particular program. Perfect combination of nature and cultural sights.
