Great transportation; enjoyed the short walk thro the lava tube at Kona coffee, other than that the stop was so so; the stop at the heritage village of the early ancestors was really informative and gave us a look at how they lived back then and their customs& beliefs; a side stop at the donut shop was very good, not only the donuts , but the variety of food for lunch; then off to the black sand beach, which was awesome with many green turtles up on the beach; Volcano National park was awesome and we could have spent many hours there. Then to Hilo and Rainbow Falls

Tommy, our guide, was so informed & informative & the tour was fab!!

We saw the Kona coffee museum & shop, many scenic bays & waterfalls, ate lunch at the beautiful Volcano House, walked through tropical regrowth post-eruption, viewed the volcano from different vantage points, drove through a rain forest, visited the macadamia nut shop, a candy factory, saw Parker Ranch, Hilo, & many towns on the coast & inland. Lots of opportunities to buy gifts & souvenirs. I gained a greater appreciation of the Big island & all it has to offer! Great tour, thanks to Tommy, our guide!

Our driver and the actual trip was excellent!

Our driver was wonderful, professional and knowledgeable. The route was good. I would have liked fewer stops that were just for shopping. An actual tour at the coffee stop would be preferred to what was given. My main disappointment was lunch. The service was fair, the food not satisfactory. A nicer place that cost a bit more would have been preferred. My praise for the driver includes his great ability to have people stay on schedule.

Good overview of the island with time to explore areas on the tour. The lunch was late in the day. It was good, but looked like it would be larger than it was. The guide was pleasant and patient. Over half the passengers did not speak English as their first language, so there was not much banter as other tours usually have.

Great way to get orientated with the island!

Perfect tour for families or the more elderly traveler. You get to see all of the island without having to drive yourself or walk/hike too much. This tour takes you around the entire island with many stops along the way at scenic points and shopping spots. Sight seeing around the Big Island is gorgeous and massive!!
