It was a great experience and everyone was kind and professional. The only reason I don't give a 5 star is because one of the guys (Robert) who work on the zip line disrespected a lady by saying things to her. That conduct should not be tolerated becauwe it can cause a fatality while on the stations. I give it a 4 not to oenalize the grewt work of the rest of the crew

What people are saying about Jaco
We booked the trip on a recommendation by the front desk staff at Oceano Hotel. We were picked up by a bus from the ranch, arrived to welcoming, organized staff, and soon introduced to our healthy, responsive horses. Gerry, our guide, was exceedingly calm and friendly. He explained how to rein and stop the horses, and allowed those who could trot and lope to do so. After passing through several fields, including one that had a cow and her day-old calf in it, we tied up the horses and hiked ten minutes to the swimming holes, fed by mountain springs. This was heavenly! Gerry chatted with us parents as our children had an experience of a lifetime: jumping into a fresh water pool in the middle of a mountain-side, lush forest. The horses did not push home, but minded their manners on the way back as we asked them to walk, trot, and sometimes wait for gates to be opened. Back at our starting point, we washed up and enjoyed fresh fruit.
The guides are friendly and speak both English and Spanish very well. Everyone is patient and have great attitudes. I recommend this experience to anyone who likes beautiful natural views and has an adventurous spirit.
Our guide spoke impeccable English with a few French sentences ... a lot of knowledge. A visit in harmony with nature. The dinner was excellent.
Lamar and Joaquin were awesome guides. Very friendly and funny. They took great care of us and we had a ball.
Sylvia, our guide, was fabulous! She was incredibly knowledgeable and adapted our tour to our interests.
