We met Toby, our guide & he showed us to the meeting spot at the machines. He went over a few do's and don'ts and off we went. He took us on trails through the woods, stopped and let us play "free-style" in an open field, then through the woods to the trappers cabin for a warm drink, time to walk around and explore, and take a breather. There we met up with Joe, the 2nd guide. From there we went on more trails and to another big open field for more "freestyle" where we really cut up & had a blast! After about 30-45 mins of fun we headed back to the finish line. I can not say enough good things about Toby and Joe! They helped us out figuring the best way to ride, helped us get unstuck in the 3' snow, and just let us go to have fun riding. I have been on many excursions in my days, however with these guys and the pure excitement if this wasn't the best one yet it is definitely a top 3. Toby and Joe, you guys ROCK!!!
I had never snowmobiled before so I wasn’t sure whether I would love it or not, but let me tell you I absolutely did! It was so exhilarating and the two guides were fabulous. The mid tour stop at the trapper cabin for snacks and drinks was amazing as well, we really enjoyed talking to Pat. I can’t recommend this highly enough and wish we had done the full day instead of just the half day!
Hailey was our guide for the day, and she did an excellent job of spotting wildlife and sharing pictures with our group. The lunch was wonderful as well. The sleigh ride was very cold, so be prepared! It is a beautiful sight in the middle of the field with the elks. I highly recommend this trip!
Our entire experience was smooth, enjoyable, and the highlight of our time in WY! As a first timer on a snow machine, I left feeling confident, yet the guides were happy to help when I ventured into powder in the meadow and promptly got stuck :) My only complaint was that the trip wasn't longer!
We had a blast! The guys that took us out were very nice and knowledgeable. The trail was gorgeous and when we stopped at the cabin there were snacks and drinks ready to go along with a warm log burning stove. Would recommend!
