Cruise across the Marmara Sea on an 8-hour tour of the Princes Island of Büyükada, with round-trip transfers from Istanbul. Ride the relaxed streets of the summer resort by horse-drawn carriage, see Ottoman houses made of wood, and more.
What to Expect
Escape the hustle and bustle of Istanbul for the day and sail across the Sea of Marmara to discover the favorite summer retreat of Büyükada, one of the fabled Princes Islands where Istanbul’s elite flee at weekends.
Upon arrival, you can trot along the tranquil streets in a horse-drawn carriage, admiring the pinewood trees and old wooden mansions along the way. Your guide will explain the sights of the island as you explore, and describe the Byzantine princes that chose it for their summer residences.
Lunch will be served at a fish restaurant, with meat and vegetarian options for those who prefer. Then, sail back to Kabataş Harbor at 16:00 for the return transfer to your Istanbul hotel and the end of tour services. During the crossing, you will get great views of the other Princes Islands of Heybeliada, Burgazada, and Kınalıada.
