We had a hard time finding the guide because he was not very well identified with a red jacket. The tour went according to plan, without queues and with a brief explanation in the courtyard. Then the audio guide worked fine. We almost didn't get to the harem because we didn't have any tickets and the guide had disappeared. We had to convince the museum officials and they finally let us through.

The meeting place was easy to understand, and there was an audio guide in Japanese, so I was very happy to hear the explanation! The Topkapu Palace was also nice, but the Dolmabahce Palace was more gorgeous and well-equipped, so it was nice to have a glimpse of life. I want to go again.

Excellent and better than my expectation.

The ticket purchase and subsequent tour was great value for money. The guide was on time and spoke excellent English. The price we paid was significantly less than similar tour providers. The guests however, must arrive at the gate of the palace on time using their own means of transport (a plus for me). Few downsides worth mentioning, the maintenance work at the palace reduced the overall time spent inside it, since many rooms were closed. My ticket did not provide access to the Harem and the painting museum.
