See the best of Istanbul on the European and Asian sides of the city on an 8-hour cruise of the Bosphorus Strait, sailing to the Black Sea. Enjoy views of imperial palaces and wooden houses as you feast on a typical mezze meal of Turkish treats.
What to Expect
Explore Istanbul from the comfort of a boat on a full-day cruise along the Bosphorus Strait, stopping at strategic points en route to explore on land. Enjoy opportunities to swim in summer, or to hike in lush woodland.
The only cruise to take you as far as the Black Sea, the tour starts with a hotel pick-up and transfer to Kabataş Port for a 09:00 departure. Enjoy great views of Istanbul's minarets as you sail to Ortaköy for an 09:15 arrival. Depart 30 minutes later for Kucuksu Palace, where you will have approximately 1-hour to explore at leisure.
Next, cruise to Rumeli Fortress, built by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II before he conquered Constantinople. Situated at the narrowest point of the Bosphorus Strait, the fortress faces the Anadoluhisarı on the Anatolian side. Depart Rumelihisarı at 12:30 and enjoy a grilled chicken and mezze lunch on board the boat as you sail towards Poyrazköy. Located in the Beykoz region of Istanbul’s suburbs, the scenery here is peaceful and green.
The scheduled departure from Poyrazköy is at 16:00, for a leisurely cruise back to Kabataş Port by 17:45.
