Begin this full-day excursion with a stroll around Pierre Loti Hill. Hop-on a cable car and let it take you to another world where the ancient Byzantine walls of Constantinople, the Chora Church and the Castle of Seven Towers await. Learn about the history of this centuries-old metropolis and how it functioned as both the capital of the eastern Roman Empire and as the head of the Ottoman Empire. Then, board the boat and cruise around the Bosphorus Strait which connects the Sea of Marmara to the Black Sea and separates Europe and Asia, making Istanbul one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the only one built astride two continents. This romantic cruise along the Bosphorus will allow you to admire the Dolmabahce Plalace, the Beylerbeyi Palace, the Ciragan Palace and the Rumeli Fortress, ancient wooden villas, bridges and all the wonderful and unique maritime landscapes.
Your 12-hour tour to the 1st capital of the Ottoman Empire starts with a hotel pick-up in central Istanbul before crossing the Sea of Marmara by ferryboat to Yalova. Touring the city of Bursa, you will visit the Great Mosque of Ulu Camii, a landmark of early Ottoman architecture, with monumental Islamic calligraphy. Move on to the decorative Green Mosque, officially known as Yeşil Mosque, and the Green Mausoleum, which can be viewed from the outside only. You will pause dur...

Disembark near Istanbul’s famous Spice Bazaar for the transfer back to your hotel.
Great tour. Our guide was very good. The downside is that since we were on the 'boat tour' which anyone can go, it was kind of redundant having a guide for this. It was loud and almost impossible to hear our guide anyway. It was also difficult to find a spot on the rail to take pictures of the sights. However, overall, I am glad we did this as Pierre Loti Hill is probably not a place we would have gone on our own, and the water cruise was very relaxing and gives a different perspective of the city.
