Full description
Depart from a central meeting point in Inverness, where you will meet your guide and board the mini-bus. First, stop at Eilean Donan Castle and take plenty of photos as you admire the majestic beauty of this iconic sight in its wonderful coastal location. Upon arrival in Portree, make your way to the harbor viewpoint where you can see the pretty pastel-colored houses. Enjoy a short stop here, where you can also purchase a light lunch. Next, stop at a loch-side viewpoint, and discover the unique rock formation of the Old Man of Storr. See the 50-meter high pinnacle that juts out from the Trotternish Ridge and is recognizable from blockbuster films including Ronin 47, Snow White & The Huntsman, Prometheus, and The BFG. Continue to Kilt Rock, an exposed sea cliff that resembles the traditional Highland kilt. Be amazed by the imposing waterfall that cascades 60ft (180m) into the Sound of Raasay below. Visit the Quiraing landslip on the eastern face of Meall na Suiramach. On a clear day, see the Outer Hebrides and the Scottish mainland, framed by pinnacles, cliffs, and great buttresses. Enjoy some time for a short hike at this scenic location. Continue to the Fairy Pools, a series of crystal clear waterfalls and pools surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Cuillin Mountain. Finally, stop for some photos of Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness. Admire the sight of the castle on a distinctive peninsula jutting out onto the mysterious Loch Ness, before heading back to Inverness.

Honestly one of the best days of my life and thats no exaggeration. The Isle of Skye is so so beautiful and Robert knew all of the best places to take us. I got to take amazing pictures but also do some amazing short hikes like at the Fairy Pools. Also - I just cannot get over how smart that man is. His knowledge absolutely blew my brain!!! He told us about the things we passed, about things he has driven past on other routes, about the history behind them, about the myths behind them, about history and myths slightly related to or predating them, he reenacted entire conversations like I was reading an audio book it was absolutely amazing. He gave us recommendations for places in the area, he gave us tips, he made actually funny jokes like I love this man!!!! He should win some kind of reward!! This tour was worth it just to meet him, let alone the amazing things we did and saw. Thoroughly thoroughly thoroughly recommend, no bad parts at all and I’m so so glad I didn't do another one.

Great experience, such a beautiful place to visit and a lot of things to see and hear on the tour. Robert our guide was smashing, such a pleasure to have him on a day trip, filled with amazing information, jokes and kindness. Our next trip to Scotland we will definitely be booking a trip with him again, best guide EVER! So lovely to my young daughter, made us feel at home and we learned a lot about the culture, history as well as having loads of fun along the way. Thank you so much for everything Rob.

This tour was fantastic! Surely, the fact that we were blessed with a beautiful weather helped, but the location we were shown were breathtaking anyways. Occasions for little hikes and walks made the experience even better. Last but not least, three brilliant and funny guides who shared their knowledge and passion for the Highlands. I was sad when the day ended!
