What people are saying about Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

We have just returned from the Lares Trek with so many beautiful and interesting impressions in our luggage. We can highly recommend the TreXperience team, the trek was perfectly organized (from morning coca tea to hot water bottle in the evening) and the team is passionate about the work. Our two guides, Elisban and Maribel, looked after the group very well, told us a lot about Peruvian culture and history, and created a great atmosphere thanks to their warm and open manner. The food (prepared by Carmelo and Ramon) was just delicious and an experience in itself. Thanks also to the hard-working hands of Mauros and Victors, who took care of everything in the background, so that we could only concentrate on the trek. With every booking through TreXperience you also support social projects - for example, the company was able to set up a library for children. Keep it up, TreXperience!

1 day we are about 2 hours by mini bus to hot springs, there you could swim and there was breakfast. Then 15 minutes by bus to the starting point of the hike. About 1.5 hours until lunch after about 1.5 hours to the camp + dinner. 2 day breakfast about 3 hours to the highest point at 4700m. Down to the next camp about 2 hours. + lunch, siesta, dinner. 3 day breakfast about 2.5 hours down where there was another lunch. Danch with bus to salzminen and after allaytantambo dinner and train aguas calientes hotel overnight (shower). 4 day breakfast bus to Machu Picchu ruins at half past three again with train 1,5 hours back to Ollantaytambo from there by bus to cusco about 3 hours Did a lot of fun, would do the tour again.

An excellent stay that we highly recommend! A team caring, beautiful scenery and all-inclusive service to let yourself be carried and enjoy the stay. The trek of Lares makes it possible to hike in all tranquility (we crossed 2 tourists in 3 days); after a good period of acclimatization, the pace allows even the less athletic to follow easily; nights in a camp make it possible to meet locals without all the bad taste folklore that some tour operators can offer; Finally, the fascinating explanations of the guide allow to learn about the fauna and flora as well as the history of a Perou from the pre-Inca period to the political and social context of our days. A big thank you to the whole team !

everything went very well, Guido is a passionate guide and likes to share his anecdotes and knowledge. The meals were good but especially the well-supervised activities! Congratulations and thank you for these unforgettable moments!

Amazing experience. Inca trail is difficult yet so rewarding. Machu Picchu is just beautiful. Our private tour guide, Anthony, was brilliant. Lovely guy, taught us so much and was such a good photographer too! Highly recommend!
