If conditions permit, you may proceed to the bottom of the crater, but it’s important to note the following: The descent is only allowed if the sulfur fumes are deemed safe, and if you are physically fit to handle the steep descent of 900 meters. Tour participants should not have a fear of heights, asthma, or heart conditions. Crater Activities: Monitoring volcanic activity at Ijen, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Observing sulfur miners who still use traditional methods. If you're lucky, you may witness the rare blue fire. However, note that the miners sometimes extinguish the blue flames to preserve sulfur mining productivity, and we cannot guarantee you will see it. 04:00 - 04:30 Begin the climb to the sunrise viewpoint. 05:00 Coffee break at the viewpoint. Your guide will prepare and serve hot coffee or tea for you to relax and enjoy the sunrise. 05:00 - 06:00 Enjoy the stunning sunrise and panoramic views of the Ijen crater, located 2,386 meters above sea level. This is your free time to take photos and listen to your guide's explanation of the history of Ijen Volcano. 06:00 Descend back to the parking area. 07:00 - 07:30 Take a moment to rest after the hike. 07:30 - 08:00 Depart and head back to Banyuwangi. 09:00 Arrive in Banyuwangi. BALI DEPARTURE : Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Bali .Drive to Gilimanuk(Bali) port then cross with ferry by your self.Upon you arrived in Ketapang port(Java) our driver and guide will meet you then heading to Paltuding(Starting hiking point). Brifing before hiking then continue to hiking to see blue fire(not guaranteed depending of weather) and enjoy the view of lake with sunrise. Back to starting point and prepare for return to Bali island.

Mount Bromo Volcano is located in extra large area of National Park called Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The main activity in the area will be sunrise wittnessing, and hike up the most approachable volcano. Our guide will tell you storical & historical things from this area. This second day will be ended by checked you in a guesthouse close to next volcano. Mount Ijen Volcano will be earlier than Mt. Bromo start time, it will trully a midnight start. Note: Since the tremors happened on July 13, visitors are currently restricted to approach the crater area for safety reasons. BLUE FLAME can be spotted from 500 meters as the allowed distance ONLY IF its flame is big enough as well as the good weather. Finally tour will finish at harbor, otherwise you can choose to go back to Surabaya. Also available option for continue with shuttle to Ubud. Note: hours driving time in a day to move from point to point, please bring your extra drinking water and personal snack.

Option: Shared Group Tour Book a sharing tour to join a group of 15-20 persons, it is the best option for backpacker and solo traveler. The price on this option include transport, local guide for the group, gas mask, and medical check up. As it is a shared group the timeline will be very depend on the group participants. Pick up time is not punctual, you can be picked up earlier or later depend on your hotel location (No complain for late pick up).
