The trip to the Richtis Waterfall was just amazing. Our guide was already waiting in front of our hotel before we came out - very punctual. During the trip he told us so much about crete, he has great knowledge on almost everything: mythology, nature, culture. Ask the guide anything and he will most certainly know the answer. You need to do a little hiking to reach the waterfall, but nothing too scary. Just take some good shoes with you. Sneakers will do. The waterfall itself is so beautiful. We were able to swim in the little lake as much as we wanted while our guide waited patiently for us. The lunch in a local restaurant was very tasty. All in all the trip was totally worth it. We learned a lot and had a good time. Can totally recommend it!

What people are saying about Ierapetra

So we just liked it from the beginning to the end, our tour was postponed due to Corona, but great communication and everything went perfectly! You got to know the country and the people and our guide Petra was just great ... she seemed to us as if we had known her for years and she told so many interesting things about Crete and nature ... just great

Had a very nice tour and saw many "secrets" of the island. Nice dinner with a local shepherd. We were with an Italian and a German and she really took the time to explain everything in 3 languages, English, German and Dutch. If you are a Dutch person, I recommend asking about Petra! Thank you :)

Nice Dutch guide. Got a lot of information. And a nice day with 2 English people and Petra. Food was also very tasty and good. It was also nice but 1 jeep instead of a group of jeeps.

Our guide Petra did a great job! She shows us a lot of interesting spots and explain many things about Crete.

Very well organized tour with the cool guide Petra who is an expert in Greek and especially Cretan culture.
