There are several water holes that are in the park and your guide will travel close to these in an attempt to catch the animals during their feeding time. Your guide will drive you through the park to see the best selection of animals. At midday, you'll enjoy a sumptuous picnic lunch. As the afternoon heat begins to cool, the animals again gather near the water holes and you'll head out on your second game drive. Often the best game viewing happens around when the sun sets. At the end of your second game drive, you'll be transferred back to your hotel in Victoria falls, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.

Your expert wildlife guide will help you to find rare or elusive species such as Jackal, African Wild Dog, Cheetah, African Wildcat, Serval, Brown Hyena, Aardwolf, Sable Antelope, and Gemsbok. A highlight of the park is the large number of Elephants. As of 2017, there was an elephant population of over 45’000. The seasonal wetlands and boreholes offer excellent wildlife viewing all year round. Game viewing is best in August, September, October, and early November. During this dry season, water becomes very scarce, and the animals tend to congregate around the few pumped waterholes from where you can easily see a variety of mammals. During the rainy season (late November to April) the landscape at Hwange will look completely different. The abundance of lush grazing areas means that animals disperse, and game viewing becomes more difficult. The birdlife during the rainy season is also excellent as the resident species are joined by a vast array of Palearctic and intra-African migrants. It is also the nesting season for the resident birds and a great time to see them in their colourful breeding plumage.

Hwange National Park is the largest and oldest game reserve in Zimbabwe. Over 100 species of mammals reside here, whilst almost 400 species of birds decorate the skies. You will be picked up by 6:00 am at your hotel for a 2-hour drive through Hwange, a rustic and charming town dotted with villages within a rural African landscape. Upon arrival at Hwange Main Camp, you will be transferred to an open game drive vehicle and escape to some amazing game viewing sites of Zimbabwe. After the morning game drive, you will then be served a picnic lunch by your guide. Later, you will continue to wander the park exploring Africa's greatest nature. A welcome game drive will be waiting for you in the Gwango Estate, after dinner you will go for a elephant tracking by moonlight at 2030hrs Day 2 Exclusive Full Day Game Drive With Picnic Lunch Wake up and have your breakfast at the lodge We will drive you through the Painted Dog Sanctuary where you will get useful information about these incredible species. From there you go to Hwange park, enjoy the jeep safari into the rich Hwange National Park where you get exposed to over 100 mammal species and the world’s largest elephant population, and other big 5 animals namely lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino and two additions, hippo and crocodile. Hwange National Park is a home to over 400 bird species also. Lunch is served on the pitched camping site inside the park. After the served lunch, The game drive will end in the evening as you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3 Early Morning Game Drive The last day we do a wrap up game drive in an effort to spot anything we missed on the previous game drives. We live at 0545hrs through to Hwange National Park. We drive for three hours before we go back to the lodge for breakfast, we expect to leave the lodge at around 11 o'clock passing through BaNambia for a cultural tour, to learn and appreciate the African culture. After the cultural tour you will be picked and transferred back to Victoria falls airport. We expect to reach Victoria Falls at around 1800hrs.

Guests are picked from their hotel or lodge at 06:00 am, the Hwange national park is 180km from Victoria Falls along Bulawayo road. It will take about 2 hrs 30 minutes to drive to Hwange national park. On arrival at the Hwange national park clients will have their breakfast and then go on the morning game drive. Hwange national park is the biggest and most visited park in Zimbabwe. It is very popular for the great number of animals that are seen in the park, the wild animals include elephants, buffalo’s, lions, wild dogs, wild beasts, impalas, giraffes and many different types of birds. After the morning game drive clients will have their lunch and then do another afternoon game. Hwange game drive will give guests to see so many animals because they are many water holes dotted in the park in positions where animals can be seen clearly. When the game drive is finished it will be time to drive back to Victoria Falls. On a Hwange wildlife safari in the Linkwasha concession, game viewing is productive year-round and wildlife frequently seen on game drives includes Lion, large herds of Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, White Rhino and spotted Hyena as well as southern Giraffe, Sable, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, common Waterbuck and Reedbuck.
