What to Expect
Golden Circle is a popular destination in Iceland. This tour is placed at a few of the most beautiful spots in Iceland.

The first stop is at Thingvellir, but Thingvellir is one of the most famous historical sites in Iceland. The Icelandic parliament was in Thingvellir and is the oldest parliament in the world. Thingvellir also offers spectacular natural beauty and is a visible section of the geological history of the world. The next stop is Laugarvatn, where passengers can see the many ways that Icelanders use hot water. See how bread is baked in warm ground and the a lake which is warm all year around. From Laugavatn the journey continues to the Efsti Dalur farm, where guests will see the coffee house located in the barn. There they can get coffee and ice cream which is produced on the farm.

The next stop is the geothermal Geysir. There are several hot springs, some small and others large. The most famous are the Strokkur and Geysir. After the geyser go to Gullfoss is one of the most powerful waterfall. Gullfoss is from White's glacial, where he falls in two steps down, up to 70-meters deep. On the way back to Reykjavik the final stop is in a small town called Hveragerdi. There is a very interesting Earthquake exhibition. That gives visitors an experience on how a powerful earthquake in the year 2008 affected this small community in Hveragerdi and the south coast.
