What people are saying about Hurghada

Great fun, well looked after & fabulous value for money!!

We had such a fun few hours! After getting our gear and choosing our quad bikes they see how you ride and give you the option to be in the 'normal' or 'fast' group which is good. I was a bit all over the place at first but they were very patient and kept a close eye on me until I got the hang of it. After biking through the desert we stopped for some photos at a picturesque spot and then on to a local town where we had black tea, were offered Shisha and a quick camel ride. Everyone was really friendly. Then we headed back which by this time I felt like a pro and loved feeling the wind as we whizzed along. We were so busy looking at our Go pro camera my partner forget his iphone on the seat of the minibus that we took back to the hotel. We quickly Whatsapp'd the organisers, the driver found it and brought it back to us that same day!! We were so relieved as it had been by birthday the day before and many of the memories would have potentially been lost. All in all, highly recommend! :)

Memorable ride through the desert on quads!

Very nice excursion to the middle of the desert on quad bikes. You will definitely get down and dirty (don't wear anything white) in two trips to and from bedouin village in the desert. Driver was on time, but the ride was a bit difficult since natural AC was on (opened windows), luckily drive was not that long. After introduction and brief instruction we were presented with option to buy scarfs and rent googles for protection (5€ per person), so if you have any gear like that bring it with you. Even diving googles would provide basic protection from dust and small rocks. However no helmets were provided. At the bedouin village short rest with fresh water was offered, after which you can go for a short ride on a camel (no additional charge), or move around and explore few local shops, or climb surrounding hills (with lovely view). Shortly after we got very tasty meal with water / coca-cola and opportunity to take pictures of sunset. In short a very memorable experience.

Great value for money and a nice experience

The trip was great, few things are also worth mentioning: -Take your sunglasses/googles and a good scarf to cover your face completely since the sand will be uncomfortable. Don’t buy/rent the scarf or the sunglasses from there cuz it’s a rip off! (They cost more than the trip itself) -Don’t let their guys ride with you even if you don’t ride well! Take your time to learn or ride with a friend! In our trip they tried to convince a girl that she should ride with one of them better than with her bf cuz they would be too heavy!! - don’t feel pressured to tip anybody cuz you already paid for the trip!! We honestly enjoyed the trip very much and I don’t wanna sound negative, these tips are mainly to keep in mind and not to push you away. I would do the same trip with the same guys again next time. Just be prepared!

Stunning experience..we are still in awe!

We were well looked after and the team made sure we had scarves (£2 each) and goggles (hired) to protect us from the dust. After a practice run we set off into the desert and what an amazing experience. Driving into the Bedouin camp was special and our guide took his time explaining everything g clearly. A small trek up the slope to a lovely view, an optional camel ride and refreshments we were ready to set off again to stop for a meal a little while later. Then off again across the desert in our buggies, to watch the sun set. Our team kept a watchful eye on us at all times and we were well looked after. An amazing experience which we wanted to repeat if we had the time. Great value for money and a humbling experience.

Quads excellent, pick and return not so great

This was our second visit to Crystal Safari quads. The pick up from the hotel was a 8 seater, but 9 people, so very cramped. At the centre, as before, over priced drinks and a bit of hard sell. The quads were amazing, it was a long ride out to the village, about 25km. It was fast paced all the way. Had about an hour at the village, camel riding etc. The ride back again was excellent flat out fun. Back at the centre, a bit of hard sell whilst waiting for transfer back to hotel. As before this wasn’t a well organised aspect of the day. Again the van had more passengers than seats. All said though, a great day out.
