Full description

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the great Red Sea desert on this star-gazing tour from Hurghada with hotel transfers included. Board a Jeep and take in the sunset, then ride a camel, have Bedouin tea and a BBQ dinner, and enjoy stargazing with an astronomist.

Begin with pickup by Jeep to your tour starting point. Then, venture for 26 kilometers into the picturesque desert of Hurghada. Drive through the sunset observation area until you reach the Bedouin camp.

Next, receive a cool and refreshing welcome drink as well as herbal Bedouin tea. Continue with your guide and experience traditional Bedouin life, including a Bedouin buffet BBQ dinner. After dinner, relish the tranquility of the desert and the millions of stars away from the noise of the city. Follow your guide on a trip to see the distant Milky Way represented through the stars.

Finally, see some of the planets through a telescope, and learn exciting information about outer space and star science from an astronomist. Once you are done admiring the stars, return to your hotel by Jeep.

The tour guide Nasser was great. The drive through the desert was very bumpy - but still great (maybe not so suitable for people with back problems). Nasser explained everything really well. Everyone there was very nice. The trip is recommended. It is definitely recommended to wear closed shoes because to see the sunset you have to walk up a small hill and then back down again.

Wer in Ägypten weilt sollte diesen Ausflug unbedingt machen ! Zum einen ist es ein echter Spaß mit einem Jeep durch die Wüste "zu brettern" und zum anderen ist es (nach unserem Empfinden) etwas ganz besonderes, den Sonnenuntergang und anschließend den klaren Sternenhimmel in der Wüste live zu sehen. Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Naturschauspiel, was man nicht verpassen sollte.
