What People Are Saying About Hue
Our guide Jimmy was a lovely guy but we did have to get him to repeat quite a few things as my Vietnamese is no existent. Would have been nice to be asked were we wanted to go for lunch rather than taking us to a very up market place that was very nice but lunch could have been something lighter. Was fantastic to see the Gates, Tomb and the imperial palace. I will have to go back again.
If you are in Hue then this is a must tour. Starting in the Emperors Citadel and ending at the tombs. It's a lot to see in a day, but a good lunch was served, after a quick tour around the enormous Hue market. All done in some pretty heavy rain storms, which added to the character. The guide was great and some good company made for a great day.
I would highly recommend this service for anyone wishing to travel from Da Nang to Hue. David and his driver were waiting for us at the airport even though our flight was delayed by 45mins in the evening. As we'd missed dinner, we also picked up a Vietnamese sandwich on the way and heard some interesting insights into Vietnamese culture on the drive over to Hue. Would definitely use again!
We loved every minute from start to finish. The trip was very well organised. Hotels were of a great standard, tours were excellent & tour guides were very knowledgable.
We opted to travel by private transfer from Hue to Hoi An. First the driver was happy to pick us up an hr earlier than originally booked. Although his English wasn't so good he was more than happy to stop at 4 different locations. Once for seafood lunch, 2nd was Hui Van Pass, 3rd China Beach & 4th Marble Mountains. Would highly recommend this option, especially if you have limited time.
