What People Are Saying About Hudson River Park

The NYC harbor tour was great and money well-spent.

We'd recommend the New York City harbor tour without reservation. The tour guide was especially enjoyable and witty. There was only shortcoming: I had minor difficulty downloading and printing the ticket voucher beforehand. Also, when I tried to reconfirm the reservation 48 hours in advance -- as suggested -- my phone call to an 800-number was routed to someplace in Europe, which wasn't open. We finally tried a local number, and that worked fine. Overall, though, a fine trip and the chance to take pictures near the Statue of Liberty was a special treat.

Very good introduction to these districts and sights

Well worth the money. We had Brandon as our guide . He gave us the factual history mixed with his own recent personal experiences . Very enjoyable .

Brilliant way to get around the different areas of New York.

Guides on boats were very entertaining and knowledgeable. 9/11 museum was very emotional.

an excellent guided tour, interesting, fascinating and lots of fun too

our guide presented his knowledge in a fascinating way, listening to him was so interesting and entertaining as well. He could answer all our questions. Our tour took not only 3 hrs. - we walked along downtown for more than 4 1/2 hrs. missing not a second. This tour was the highlight of our stay in NY !! The combination of competent guidance in a small group is great.

The bike ride was the most fun we had on this weekend visit to NY.

Our guide Chris made this tour the most fun we had during our 4 day visit. The ride is about 12 miles from Midtown on the Hudson side, down around lower Manhattan and up and over the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. It was informative and in addition to the regular tour info, Chris pointed out many hidden treasures, like the Trapeze school on top of a building next to the trail. The photo ops from the Brooklyn Bridge for me were the highlight. And you don't need to be a regular cyclist to enjoy this, since the whole trip is at a manageable pace. Well worth the price.
