What to Expect
This amazing full-day tour offers a trip back in time as you immerse yourself in an extraordinary World War 2 story. Combining visits to the site of the heartbreaking attack on Pearl Harbor, with a trip to the USS Missouri, it is an experience that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world.

You depart from Maui for the short flight to Oahu, where you will learn of the courage of the American soldiers who came under attack on that fateful morning of 07 December 1941. Hear about their heroic and tragic stories during a visit to the Arizona Memorial, located on top of the sunken remains of the USS Arizona.

The last resting place of over 1,000 sailors, the USS Arizona has been a National Historic Landmark since 1989. See artifacts of the attack at the Visitor Center before riding out on a Navy Launch across Pearl Harbor itself. Then, shuttle off to Ford Island, an active Navy Base under federal protection to explore the Pacific Aviation Museum, Hawaii’s newest and most exciting museum.

Finally, you will walk in the shadow of General Douglas MacArthur as you take a guided tour of the historic deck of the world’s best-known battleship, the USS Missouri. This magnificent vessel has seen action from World War 2 through to Desert Storm.

The site of the Japanese surrender to the Allies in 1945, the USS Missouri, is a fitting location to complete a day of unforgettable World War 2 memories, before your flight back to Maui.
