Hop on board Cinnamon Cruises in Hoi An for a chance to experience local life as you shop for fresh ingredients at the colorful market, and the chance to taste delicious Vietnamese cuisine you've cooked yourself while cruising along the Thu Bon River.
What to Expect
Your chef and guide will meet you at the tour office at 08:00, and take you to find fresh, flavorful ingredients at the colorful local market. You'll have the opportunity to interact with the sellers, get to know about their daily life in Hoi An, and learn about the Vietnamese ingredients you will use for cooking on the boat.
After leaving the market, it's a short walk to the boat, anchored nearby. The boat crew will guide you to a private table for welcome drinks, while you cruise along the Thu Bon River. You'll anchor in a quiet spot for your 2-hour, hands-on cooking class. Discover Vietnamese culinary arts and culture as you prepare each dish yourself, after watching your chef make each dish first.
After the lesson, sample your own cooking for lunch, and enjoy a special extra dish as well. While you are having lunch, you'll cruise back to the pier, and the crew will bid you a farewell at 12:30, so you can continue to explore the sights and flavors of Hoi An.
