Spend a day visiting the ethnic minority villages of Co Tu, enjoy fresh mountain air, and do some sightseeing on the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Take a break for lunch in Ba Hom and learn about the lifestyle and traditions of the Dong Giang hill tribe.
What to Expect
You’ll head out from Hoi An early in the morning, with a boxed breakfast to eat on the drive to the mountains and the Co Tu ethnic minority villages.
On your full-day trip the first stop will be at a tea farm for you to take in the scenic views and enjoy the fresh air.
Continuing along the mountain road you’ll come to Ba Hom, a beautiful village that’s home to the Co Tu ethnic people. The culture, traditions, and lifestyles of the Co Tu have remained largely untouched by time and they are truly one of Vietnam’s most authentic hill tribes.
Enjoy lunch in the village before driving to the Zara handicraft village where handmade items are produced in the Co Tu style. You’ll go on a short trek to a waterfall in an old growth forest for a refreshing break in the cool, fresh water.
