At 18:00, your tour guide and Jeep driver will pick you up from your hotel to start your Saigon tour by night. Arrive at a local restaurant to enjoy a Banh Xeo, a crispy, crepe-like specialty of South Vietnam. Continue your night city tour to admire the most magnificent French colonial monuments of the city such as the Opera House, City Hall, Notre Dame and the Post Office.  Then, you will be taken to explore the favorite places where the locals inhabitants like to go at night for a dinner with friends or relatives. In this place, you will be able to taste real cuisine like a local Vietnamese for a unique experience. After the dinner, it will be about time to enjoy the fresh air by night. Your Jeep tour will take you around Saigon to admire the panoramic views of the city. Last stop of the tour will be at a sky bar to enjoy a last drink of the day. We had the most amazing time last night on our private tour of HCMC. Our guide Hai and driver Eric were both very friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable about the history of Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. Despite the appearance of chaos on the streets with the millions of scooters/motor bikes and cars Eric managed to make us feel at ease with his careful driving. We enjoyed tasting and experienced traditional Vietnamese foods with the locals, and even though not really foods we were used to Hai managed to encourage fussy eaters to try. If your undecided on which tour to take, you definitely can’t go past this private tour in open jeep also very welcoming in the late afternoon heat.

Even though we had spent a few days and seen the tourist hotspots, this was an amazing - we would say essential- part of seeing HCMC. Our trip included a wonderful dinner at Rice Terrace Restaursnt, which we would never have found, and trips to Skybar, the new VIP neighborhood, Seafood Market and drives through surrounding suburbs. Wow! Strongly recommend.
