What People Are Saying About Ho Chi Minh City
We were travelling around Vietname and decided to take the Mekong Delta tour with VHT following the recommendations of a good friend that works in the Vietnamese travel Industry. We had Mr Nam Peter who was very attentive and illustrative. We tried lots of different fruits and he even sung lullabies to our son later in the night. The children enjoyed very much the paddle boat trip and the visits to the coconut and bee farm and candy handmade .All meals were included.BBQ food at the homestay tina garden was lovely and romantic .Very nice view .Biking around local village was awesome .On the way we saw beautiful pagoda name Vinh Trang .Very relaxing .HIghly recommended
This two day trip was the absolute highlight of our time in Vietnam. Highly recommended! Our guide Nhi was the best we've ever had, and the home stay family was fantastic as well. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to see and experience life in rural Mekong Delta.
We thoroughly enjoyed the home stay mekong delta tour. Our guide, Nhi, was fantastic. She was friendly, very informative and professional. The home stay itself was lovely, the couple who owned it was so kind and were thrilled to have us in their home. It was right next to the mekong in amongst the trees! Every aspect of the tour was genuinely interesting. At the end of the tour we met an elderly lady for tea in her home to get more of an understanding of life in the mekong area and the effects the war has had on the local people. She was so lovely and kind, we really enjoyed meeting her. All in all, we would fully recommended this tour and would definitely choose this company again!
The Small Group consisted of myself, the guide and driver! I was collected promptly from the hotel by a friendly and very informative guide who took me first to the War Remnants Museum - in many ways this brought home the futility of war, particularly the exhibition on 'Agent Orange' as the guide's sister had died as a result of the poisonous effects of the chemicals. We continued to the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral from the outside and the Post Office building before going to lunch in a local restaurant and sampling Vietnamese food. After lunch we walked through the Ben Thanh market before visiting a Chinese temple and a Chinese market. From there we returned to the centre and I was dropped off at my hotel. As I had only limited time in Ho Chi Minh City, I felt this was a good way to see the highlights.
This tour was great. Our guide spoke very good English and gave us so much information. Was interesting to hear more of the perspective from Saigon over historical events and cu chi tunnels. Very much recommend this.
