Full description

Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels on a guided tour from Hồ Chí Minh city. Step back in time as you learn about how this vast underground network was used in the Vietnam war. Select the VIP tour option to enjoy beer, fruits, snacks, and lunch during your tour.

Depart from Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi Tunnels, just 60 kilometers outside the city. Visit the heroic district and learn about its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. Explore the 220-kilometer-long tunnel system with your guide. Soak up the rural rice paddy scenery and sights of ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers along the side of the road. Imagine the state of this peaceful district back when it was a "Free Target Zone" and suffered great destruction and damage due to bombing.

See the remnants in Cu Chi that are evidence of the fierce battle that once took place here. Get a chance to fire an AK-47. At the end of the tour, hop back on the bus for the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.

This tour was amazing we had a fantastic day from start to finish. The tour was well organised with a prompt pick up and we was informed on the way to Cu Chi about Vietnamese culture and history from our tour guide Dao. Dao was an absolute joy and she made the trip for us, she was very well spoken and really educated us on the Cu Chi Tunnels aswell as the Vietnamese war and the Vietcong. We payed just over £20 extra to shoot and we both really enjoyed this too. I went in the 20M tunnel and as I was entering I panicked so didn’t end up doing it, but I still had a great day, going in the tunnels is only a small part of a great day, so if you don’t fancy going in them I wouldn’t let it put you off!

The tour was so interesting and Ben was the perfect tour guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and kept us entertained with his facts around Vietnam and the war on the 2 hour bus journey to the attraction! Ben even offered to drop us in the centre of Ho Chi Minh when the tour ended so we could continue sightseeing, getting the most out of our day as it was only half day tour as described in tour information. We loved it!

After a few days of exploring Saigon, this tour was a refreshing change from the city. Surrounded by trees, this was a forest in which the ground we were standing on were the Cu Chi Tunnels. We got to experience going through the tunnel, seeing how people lived inside the tunnel and experiencing their daily lives, was just an amazing experience. Our tour guide a 70 plus year old war veteran (VietCong) is a really good storyteller. He was very passionate about the history and the people.
