It was a great tour, with a very friendly and knowledgable guide. We were lucky because we were the only two people booked for the day. That meant that we could stay as long or as short as we wanted at any particular sight. The hour-long cyclo bike ride through Chinatown and the Ho Thi Ky flower market was a great start. It's amazing how the cyclo drivers can maneuver around the rest of the crazy Saigon traffic! Next was a visit to the oldest Buddhist temple in Saigon. Watching the monks chant before eating their meal was a surreal experience. Every stop on the tour was an interesting part of the day. The guide answered every question that we had. This tour is a great value and definitely worth the money!
This was a fantastic experience. Elle and Henry were excited from the moment they picked us up which made the food tour even better. The food was amazing and there was a large variety of it. While it was all traditionally Vietnamese, I’m not sure we would have discovered many of the dishes on our own. Elle and Henry took time to explain everything we ate and walked us through how food relates to the culture. As an added bonus, we also enjoyed seeing how Vietnamese people live and learning fun facts about Vietnamese superstitions. Finally, I want to say how great Henry did as it was his first tour and he was in training, which we would have never known if he had not told us.
The tour was nothing short of fabulous. Our guide, Mary, spoke perfect English, was very professional, personable, sensitive to our needs/interests and excellent in every way. She took us to a wide variety of places, each offering multiple dishes. The amount of food for us was obscenely excessive ... but we're old and don't eat that much. It was way more walking than we anticipated. We not only ate at locals' places but experienced local life and, of course, local food. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
The street food tour with Mino and Vietnam Street FoodsTour was one of my TOP 3 experiences in Vietnam during my two-week holiday! I really enjoyed to experience the city on a moterbike. Mino was a good driver - felt very safe all the time, just enjoyed the breeze! He was also a very considerat and friendly guide, told me a lot of interesting details about the vietnamese lifestyle, culture incl. food (of course!). I can totally recommend this for all visitors in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City!
I traveled alone to HCMC and read online about this tour, and decided to take it. I was really surprise of the great time I had and the delicious food included in the tour. Rachel was my tour guide and she was really awesome, she felt more like a friend than a tour guide and we had a really good time. I would recommend this experience and Rachel as a tour guide. The tour includes visiting other areas not as popular in the city and it is amazing to get to know the culture. Great time!!
