  • Customized Ho Chi Minh City Experience on Cyclo with Driver

    10. Customized Ho Chi Minh City Experience on Cyclo with Driver

The cyclo is a three-wheel cycle taxi that appeared in Vietnam during the French colonial period after a failed attempt to introduce rickshaws. A double seat is supported by the two front wheels, with the driver sitting behind. Follow the recommendations of your driver to find out some good places to visit, or just let them surprise you. Book the tour for between 1 to 4 hours. The cost is calculated by the number of hours spent with the driver, an expert who knows which directions to take in order to have great views. Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s history and culture by local transport. Feel the hustle and bustle of street vendors selling a mixture of herbs for traditional medicine. Snake your way down tiny alleys on the agile vehicles, passing many small, family-run businesses. Even come and see the old pagoda in Ho Chi Minh city.

Interesting tour and fun on the cyclo. Weather was bad but not much they can do about that. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Only criticism was as a private tour would have liked more control over where we went than a set itinerary

We made the tour with our guide Tu. He's a very cheerful person, was always open to our questions and shared so many interesting facts about Vietnamese culture with us. I loved how diverse the tour was with its many different activities, food and even some crafts presentations. Maybe the condition of the bicycles could have been a little better (the brakes didn't work properly and the saddles weren't really adjusted), but that's just a minor point. The kayaking part was all the more entertaining. :)

It was a really interesting tour, seeing the floating markets was the most interesting activity for me. Our guide Ben told us many interesting stories about life and people in Vietnam and we could ask everything we wanted to know. Tasting all the fruits was amazing!

We were very lucky to be the last ones before close the place because of the corona virus. We enjoyed every moments.

Ben is the best guide ever. I was impressed by his knowleadge, english and eargness.

Our guide, Emily, was excellent. it was a really great full day!
