We enjoyed our Big Bus experience overall, but primarily due to the guided walking tour we added. Our guide Charles was absolutely amazing. His tour was so informative and fun and one of the highlights of our stay. The buses overall were not as helpful, as the routes covered a relatively small space, ran infrequently and at unpredictable times, meaning we missed several scheduled buses and had to walk to our destinations, and because the portion of the day they ran was fairly limited (arrived at the stop near our hotel at 11, stopped running by 17) it wasn’t as useful as we had hoped. Commentary was interesting when we were able to ride.

  • Vienna: Tickets for Mozarthaus Vienna with Audio Guide

    4. Vienna: Tickets for Mozarthaus Vienna with Audio Guide

Mozarthaus Vienna with Audio Guide: At the Mozarthaus Vienna, visitors can explore the only Vienna apartment of Mozart’s that has been preserved, where he lived from 1784 to 1787 and composed more music than anywhere else. Around this flat, a comprehensive presentation of the times in which Mozart lived and of his most important works, spread over three exhibition levels, awaits Mozart fans, young and old, from all over the world. The exhibition is focused on the great composer’s Vienna years, which represent the peak of his creative achievement. Make sure to get a free Audioguide to discover Mozarthaus Vienna. In addition to the permanent exhibition, a special exhibition also takes place in the Mozarthaus Vienna, which changes each year and is included in the price of admission. Every Sunday an additional, 30-minute free tour of the highlights of the Mozarthaus Vienna is available (...

We had expectations to see and be impressed by Mozart's creative space, but in the end the place gave a lot of information about the period, the other composers and a bit missed the "home" experience. Beyond that, the digital explanation is too long and the means in the museum are a bit outdated. One can easily create an interactive experience that will allow visitors to get to know and identify with the special and ingenious creator.

Great experience quite different from regular sightseeing. This was our second tour of the day so we did it using rental electric scooters, which was a very good idea. Places are fairly close to each other but if you’re doing it during summery hot day, renting scooter is a good idea. I will definitely do similar activity in the future in some other city.

My entire family loved Marieta and her walking tour of the city. Vienna is a beautiful city, and her insight was a five star performance. Every building she provided an excellent description of it’s history. Both my wife and mother in law love roses, and when she took through the park, the roses left them both speechless. She could not have planned a better tour. Marieta is gracious, professional and every family that tours Vienna should request her. We thank her one last time for the tour of a lifetime.
