the trip is highly recommended, you get all the information you need beforehand and the tour operator was well organized and also planned the transport well. Communication with the guides was also very good and they were friendly and open. I recommend packing swimwear for the approximately 1.5 hour stay in Elounda, as there is a very beautiful beach there and later you will stop for a swim in the sea by boat (from Spinalonga back to the harbor in Elounda). For Spinalonga itself it is best to wear sturdy shoes to get to the top of the island via the old stone steps, otherwise you can unfortunately only take the circular route. The only thing we missed, and that is complaining at a high level, was more information about Agios Nikolaus, Elounda and Spinalonga. A little information was given, but a little more would have been nice.
