This day trip from Reykjavik takes you along the entire south of Iceland and the tour takes roughly 15 hours to complete. Some of the most scenic locations in Iceland can be found on this route so doing a private tour with some added flexibility is a great option. There is a fair amount of driving involved but the journey itself is more than worth it. Travelling on the Ring Road from Reykjavik we go through some of the most scenic areas on the south coast of Iceland, including the Eldhraun Lava Field, Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Skógafoss Waterfall, Vík village, Skaftafell and Öræfajökull, highest mountain in Iceland and countless others. Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in Vatnajökull National Park stands out like a massive jewel forged with ice and fire and is an absolutely mind blowing experience. It is everchanging with the drift ice coming from the glacier and in fact growing every year so never quite the same. We offer the option to take the amphibian boat trip out among the white and blue icebergs spotting new shapes at every turn and the heads of seals chasing fish into the sweet water. And do not forget to check out the Diamond Beach at the mouth of the short glacial river where crumbling bits of transparent ice sparkle in the black volcanic sand. Please be aware that there are numerous natural treasures along this route, and we may not have time to explore them all. What people are saying about Hella, Iceland

This guide was a great addition to our trip. The narration is informative and interesting and occasionally dryly funny. It made the long drives interesting and gave us some context, education, and cultural background for things seen and not seen along the road. It was mostly easy to use, although it tended to disconnect every time I left the car and came back and the auto play had to be restarted (may be related to being on airplane mode). Still it's great value for the money and I highly recommend! We still have a plethora of things to learn from the app on our next trip to Iceland.

We spent last week travelling the ring road in Iceland and the really made all the difference. The information was first class and so many times it 'popped up' just as we wondered about a house, a river or whatever. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anyone visiting Iceland and cannot think of any improvements to it.

Glad we downloaded this app on our drive to south coast and Jokulrason glacier. It included several spots as well as information animals and the landscapes.

Automatic start by location search is very practical and relaxing. You don't miss anything and the posts aren't too long, often even a bit funny.

Very good, many points on our route were addressed.
