This trip was a very unexpected surprise and has been our favorite adventure since being in Punta Cana! We were picked up right in front of our hotel on time and in a private vehicle that was a comfortable ride to the site and all locations. It was about 2hr 30min ride. Our tour guide and translator were both great and knowledgeable about the area, wildelife and agriculture. Decent kayak out to the bay but beautiful scenery along the way and awesome to go around the bay. When we got back from the kayaking we were transported to our hike. Once again the tour guides were knowledgeable and VERY passionate about teaching which was great to learn about in the national park. After the hike we were taken to lunch at a local resort/hotel, which the staff prepared us a “special meal” since we were discussing the lack of hole in the wall local options near where we were staying. Bring shoes to get wet and dirty, ones you don’t care about. Also waterproof everything!

We had a very pleasure experiene at this excursion. We enjoyed our time in the nature and the excursion was well planned and exeuted, only the morning pickup was well behind schedule, but the reason is unknown. Our guide Susie was lovely and she made sure everyone had great time. Definitely recommend this trip if you enjoye nature and want to see different, more calm side of the Dominican Republic.

There was no one at pickup point when we arrived and luckily we had a little cell service to call the number on sign out front. It took about an hour for our guide to get to us, but then the rest of the trip was incredible!! Big thanks to Nacho (Ignacio) our guide, he was wonderful and fun! It was our favorite event of our trip. The park is beautiful and we were given a feast after!

It was my favourite trip in Dominican Republic, combining water cruise on the mangrove field, bird watching, caves with ancient drawings, tipical dominican lunch, car safari in the mountains and a short dip in natural pools with waterfalls. A day to savour again and again.

Booked the day before, we found ourselves doing a tour as if it were private, very well organized, we were very happy with the experience!
