Hartley's Crocodile Adventures

Get up close and personal with Australia's native and exotic wildlife at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, a wildlife sanctuary and ecotourism park located between Cairns and Port Douglas at Wangetti. Upon arrival at the park, you will be allocated a time for a boat tour during which you will be able to see crocodiles being pole fed. During your visit to the park, learn more about crocodiles and snakes with daily talks and shows, including a tour of the crocodile farm, a crocodile attack show, and a venomous snake demonstration. In between shows, feel free to explore the 2500 meters of boardwalks and pathways winding through melaleuca wetlands, eucalypt woodland, and riverine rainforest, enjoying a wide variety of native and exotic animals. No doubt after all the walking you'll be hungry for the range of snacks and meals available at the onsite bistro. After the shows, explore the wildlife exhibits at your own pace. See Komodo dragons, alligators, cassowaries, wombats, koalas, emus, lizards, quolls, kangaroos, and wallabies. In the Gallery of Living Art, meet tropical and predatory birds in a walk-through aviary, then enter the reptile room to admire exotic reptiles. Finish the day with a selfie with the koalas, crocs, or pythons for a memorable souvenir of your day out.

This half-day experience begins with coach pickup from - Cairns 11:40am || Trinity Beach 12:45pm || Palm Cove 12:55pm || or Port Douglas 09:50am. Sit back and relax onboard as you soak up the beautiful views along the Captain Cook Highway to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. During the drive, listen to your driver’s fascinating commentary. Arrive at the park and enjoy free time to explore at your own leisure. Stroll along its many boardwalks and pathways, through woodlands and rainforest. Watch the mesmerizing snake show and crocodile attack show, and learn about these impressive animals. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, grab lunch at the onsite cafe (not included). Later, discover more about Australia’s wildlife on the wetlands cruise. At the end of an epic afternoon, relax on the return journey to your pick up point .

Start your day right with a cooked breakfast and get up close and personal with the koalas at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, a wildlife sanctuary and ecotourism park located between Cairns and Port Douglas at Wangetti. Enjoy your breakfast relaxing on the deck overlooking the lagoon. Feast on scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausages, and toast washed down with fruit juice, tea, or coffee. As you eat, a wildlife keeper will introduce you to one of the park's koalas. Feel free to pet the koala and ask any questions you may have. After breakfast, spend the rest of the day exploring the park at your leisure. Learn more about the crocodiles and snakes with talks and shows, see native and exotic wildlife such as emus, lizards, kangaroos, and wallabies, and even get to see crocodiles being pole fed during a boat cruise on the lagoon.

7.00 am - 8.00 am Cairns Pickup Kuranda Scenic Rail:  Board the famous train for an amazing journey, as you travel one of the world's most scenic rail routes, through hand hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges. 10.25 am Arrive in Kuranda.  You have limited free time (1hr) to explore the many and varied shops, as well as the heritage markets which operate daily. 11.30 am Skyrail:  Board Skyrail, an experience which takes you over the rainforest canopy with stops along the way allowing you to take a stroll or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. On arrival at Caravonica Lakes, board the coach for your transfer to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. 1.20pm Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures:  Is the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland. Highlights of the park include the Wetlands Cruise, Crocodile Attack Show and Snake Show. 4.45pm Coach departs for Cairns

Make memories to last a lifetime with an entry ticket to the Zootastic 5 experience at Hartley's Crocodile Aventures. The experience includes feeding, petting, and a photo with the koalas. You can also enjoy general entry to the park and all of its facilities. Join a member of Hartley's experienced wildlife team for your meet-and-greet with the koalas. Get the chance to feed the koalas their daily snacks, pet them, and snap a photo whilst holding them. Other activities could include feeding fruit to a cassowary, holding a python or a lizard, meeting and petting a wombat, or feeding friendly birds, wallabies, and kangaroos. Then, head to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for a spectacular trip over the World Heritage Rainforest with 2 stations to get off and explore. Afterward, board the famous Kuranda Scenic Train for a 1.5-hour journey through rainforest with fantastic views and waterfalls and a stopover to enjoy a sunset drink at Palm Cove.
