Visit Duong Lam, an ancient village in Son Tay, Hanoi. It is the first-recognized ancient village in Vietnam. The ancient village has a history of about 1,200 years with many houses dating back up to 400 years.
What to Expect
At 8:30 am, you will be picked up at your hotel and depart to Duong Lam Ancient Village, which is far about 45 km from Hanoi. When arrival, you can start by visit to Mong Phu temple, some ancient houses and then enjoy local products such as rice wine and rice cakes.
After that, you get a bicycle and ride along countryside road. The fresh air here will make you feel relax and peaceful. You continue visit some historical vestiges such as Giang Van Minh Worship House, Temples of King Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung – two famous kings in Vietnam history.
Cycling uphill, it’s easy to see a natural holy well which stores clear water all the year round. At 12:30 pm, you have lunch with a local family and then get ready to return to Hanoi. At about 3:30 pm, driver will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi.
