    1. Alton Towers Resort: Entrance Ticket

Discover the excitement of Alton Towers Resort with its variety of rides, attractions and entertainment for thrill-seekers, families and kids of all ages! See the Alton Towers Dungeon which was launched in 2019 and is a hilariously hideous journey through Staffordshire’s darkest history. Experience 7 world-class rollercoasters throughout the resort. Ride on the latest addition, "Wicker Man", that brings together wood and fire, as well as "Nemesis" with its iconic twists and turns, "Oblivion" with its sheer vertical drop, and "The Smiler" with its world-record 14 inversions. For those with little ones in tow, explore "CBeebies Land", which is the perfect place to meet some of your favourite CBeebies friends including the Teletubbies, Peter Rabbit, and Postman Pat. Families can also discover Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE, learn to drive at Cuckoo Cars Driving School, catch the Runaway Mine ...

Entry was good and parking efficient. The waiting time for rides was too long as the greatly reduced the number or rides that could be tried.

  • Portsmouth: Hovercraft Flight to the Isle of Wight

    2. Portsmouth: Hovercraft Flight to the Isle of Wight

Board your hovercraft for an adrenaline-filled day on the Isle of Wight. When the hovercraft reaches the island, you'll land in a prime sea front position along Ryde's beautiful and inviting beaches. Hop off and enjoy what Ryde and the Isle of Wight have to offer, including the beaches, boutique shops, bars and restaurants, and travel links to elsewhere across the island. After a day of fun on the island, enjoy a same-day return journey back to the Southsea terminal. The journey across the Solent is approximately 10 minutes. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight on the World's only commercial passenger hovercraft service.

When you the buy the tickets, you will be contacted asking to what time you want to go out and return, I sent these details to them 3 months in advance, They agreed with the times and issued tickets with these times. On arrival they told me the timetable had changed and we would have to catch the next one which was 30 minutes later than planned, the hovercraft had broken down and we were dealyed 2 hours in total, on Return we found that the time table again had changed and that crafts were now hourly instead of every 20 muinutes!, we had missed our booked return time, the next craft to depart was was fully booked we were put on standby, luckily spaces became available and we made it. I would say if you pay for parking, use RingGo app so you can extend your parking if things go wrong. Try to stick to your booking times if you can, the hovercraft is popular and gets booked up quickly.

A fantastic, first time experience on the hovercraft, very quick and smooth. Staff were friendly and very accommodating especially when I needed to leave Isle of Wight earlier than expected. Loved the whole day and the hovercraft crossing was a bonus!!!

Beautiful landscapes, colorful cliffs in Alum Bay - wonders of nature. Perfect guide. You could spend more time on the island hiking or cycling it to discover other equally interesting places

Excellent services and facilities were very well organised with safety measures.
