Full description
Take a guided tour of St. Pauli and hear fascinating stories of beautiful women on this unique, offbeat walking tour. Learn all about sex work in Hamburg with a lively guide offering plenty of background information, as well as interesting anecdotes and famous stories as you pass by the heart of Hamburg's red light district; the Reeperbahn in St. Pauli. On your tour, an actress dressed as a 16th-century sex worker will tell you everything there is to know about this infamous district, and she'll offer plenty of information on anything that might spark your curiosity. Her striking red and yellow-winged hat was once mandatory apparel for sex workers in Hamburg. Travel through the past and present of sex work: from the temple in ancient Babylon and the official position of the Church, to the life and work of former sex workers right in the heart of St. Pauli. Learn more about taboos in sexual practices, clothing, and articles, and get a coupon for a local sex shop.  To end the tour, stop at a local bar and enjoy a shot of Hurenschnaps, or "whores' schnapps," and see the red light district in a whole new light.

Very interesting, but 29.50 euros is a proud price.

We were in a group of 25 people. Our leader was Jeanne. She led the tour with wit, charm and a relaxed directness. We got a lot of information, questions could be asked at any time and later we walked through the neighborhood with completely different eyes. The tour went 2 hours. Everything was good, but the price of 29.50 is too high in my eyes. We were 25 people that times 29.50. Yes ... was worth it for the organizer.

    Praiseworthy

The tour was very interesting, and "Lola" led it in a very funny way. The 'whore's shots' at the end ("Saurer") were also very tasty, and although at 28.50 Euro I think the tour's almost too expensive, I'd still recommend it. It's especially fun when you do it with a group of girls (for example, for a bachelorette party, birthday, etc.)!

A well-led tour with lots of background information.

This provider really brings you closer to the Reeperbahn and its history. Laidback, light-hearted and worth knowing. You also don't need world-famous personalities to lead you through the Reeperbahn on a tour. Sometimes some guides, like the ones under contract, do it better and more knowledgeably than some others. Here we had the feeling that our female tour guide had experienced everything on her own, for real.
