There is a solid 2 or 3 hours bus ride to Ha Long Bay in which you can relax and recover some sleep. After you get on the boat all the views are amazing. The cave is very interesting and its funny that all rock formations have been named by what the locals compare it with (turtle, dragon etc) .The guide kept everything in order and timed the schedule perfectly. This is a must when visiting Ha Noi
