Guilin

We were looked after by our driver/ guide Mr Jeff from A to Z; - our hotel pickup at 07:40 to be taken to the cruise boat (business class boat, excellent comfort, some English speaking staff to help with photo spots, Chinese buffet lunch ..) superb scenery - met again in Yangshuo to visit the town and then countryside tour in the car. We could also have rented electric scooters but chose not to because some rain. Really nice scenery and walking spots in rice fields near a river - taken to an excellent restaurant where the guide helped choose the local speciality beer fish - the highlight was the Luisanjie show. Unbelievable with the setting and number of actors. Thanks to being briefed about the various minorities this helped understand most of the scenes… but in any case a spectacle by itself ! - return to Guilin and left at our hotel around 23:00. A long day but worth it to see 3 highlights in 1 day, all under the care of the guide.
