It was very educational for my family.

It was a very educational experience, for my whole family. My hubby and I took my 3 children and in my sons words it was epic . My 2 daughters said it was wonderful. They could not pick just one thing they liked about the workshop tour. They loved it all. They can't wait to go to school tomorrow to tell everyone about it. My son was so excited that he met Gary and got to hold the actual camera from ground zero. Thank you to Gary and the guide for making this trip even more fun for my kids. I don't think anof us will forget this experience. The Blain family Kristie, Dean, Natalie, Casey, and Kymberlie

    Great but expensive museum

First be sure you go to the right place!! The museum is not at ground zero, it is in Chelsea. Second the door to the museum is easy to miss and the intercom to gain entry does not work properly so you have to persist. But your persistence will be rewarded, the museum, while very small (just the one room) is filled with fascinating items, photographs, and accounts of 911 and the ground zero site like no where else I know of. The introductory film really provides a great reminder and context for the museum, and the audio guide is filled with the kind of personal stories and insight into the collection that will really connect with you. When you arrive you think "2 hours seems too much time for this one room"... It is not! Every item, every picture, every story is compelling. Highly recommended. Expensive, but proceeds go to 911 charities.

Compelling, respectful, a must do before you go to the reflecting pool

This turned out to be one of the best activities of our vacation. W took our teenagers who were literally. Just babies when September 11, 2001 happened. The staff were very professional, knowledgeable, and caring in their presentation, this is sacred and somber. I highly recommend you come here and go through the process before you go down to Ground Zero and view the reflecting pools.
