3,5h Stockholm Guided Bike Tour (English/German)

3,5h Stockholm Guided Bike Tour (English/German)

Welcome/Willkommen! Our Bike Tour gives you a summary of Stockholm in just a few hours. You will feel well informed about the "Capital of Scandinavia" afterwards and ready to start exploring on your own. We therefore recommend that you do this tour as early as possible in your trip, mainly because of the many different areas we are visiting as well as all the local recommendations & information you will get. But of course everyone is welcome to join our tour! We learn about Stockholm's dark past and colorful present, as we enjoy the beautiful architecture around us and breathtaking water surroundings. Please note that 3,5 out of the 4 hours in total is the actual tour time. 30 minutes is planned to going back and forth from Odenplan -> City and City -> Odenplan. Finishing point is the same as starting/meeting point. From our starting point at Odenplan it takes us 15 minutes to get to the Old Town and Riddarholmen Island, where we pass by the old buildings and historic centre of Stockholm. After leaving the Old Town and the Royal Palace behind, we enjoy our first FIKA break at the Grand Hotel and later bike through parts of the beautiful National Park of Djurgården (where you find the ABBA Museum, the Vasa, and more). We take a well deserved break at the lovely Rosendal Garden. The tour goes on to exploring the Paris-inspired boulevards of Östermalm, the fancier residential area with beautiful architecture. Here we make a stop at the famous Östermalm Food Hall (oldest in Stockholm). On the Saturday tours we can visit it, on Sundays it is closed. Back in the City Area, you will see the Parliament + the Swedish White House, Royal Opera, Royal Theatre, as well as the Raoul Wallenberg Square (Swedish WWII hero). We share the second FIKA towards the end of our time together. For the Nature interested, we pass by both of the two main ports downtown with boats departing to the massive Stockholm archipelago (consisting of more than thirty thousand islands!). For the Shopping interested, we cover the main Shopping areas downtown. The tour mixes active biking with plenty of stops along the way, for you to catch your breath and take memorable pictures. Your group will enjoy two short "Fika" breaks along the way and if your group wishes, your guide will play our Swedish Spotify list from a small speaker attached to the his/her bike. If you have any allergies, please let us know in advance so your guide can adapt the FIKA. Don't find your tour on the day you wish? Contact Stockholm Summer Tours and we will try our best to work it out! We look forward to seeing you this summer!

A lovingly guided bike tour with Sophie that I can only recommend. We passed many sights, such as Gamla Stan, Stockholm City Hall, the Royal Palace, Djurgarden, the museums...! Several breaks at the sights were sweetened with Marabou chocolate and small cinnamon rolls (Fika) from Sophie. She was happy to answer all questions, even outside of the bike tour. We rode through Stockholm on new bikes that had a basket on the front, which is very useful for jackets, handbags, etc., and music by ABBA, Avicii, Roxette. A wonderful idea. It was great fun...♥️🙏😊

Great tour! You get a great overview and everything worked out perfectly! The stop in the national park was particularly beautiful and gave us inspiration for a restaurant that evening! Thank you Sophie for the great day!

The attendant on the boat was friendly and super helpful. Remember to get headphones when you get on board, we ‘caught on’ half way into the bus ride. A great way to orientate the city and make sense of key landmarks.

Everything was great. We were even picked up from the port by bus and taken back to the ship by boat. The buses did this too. So hop off hop on in Stockholm is worth it.

The drivers were friendly and it offers a tour for the most important tourist spots.
