We had a great time on this tour. You received the equivalent of a schooner of beer in the tasting and then a complimentary 6 pack. If you bought a schooner from a bar and a 6 pack of stubbies from a liquor outlet you would pay as much as we did for this tour. Looking at it this way the tour of the brewery itself without the beer essentially did not cost anything at all and for that we received an informative and enjoyable tour that I would highly recommend.

We are lucky to have a guide all to ourselves (2 people) who gave us all the time we needed to discover everything. Helen our guide shared her knowledge of the region with us and showed us many very nice places. The kiwi nursery and the ice cream parlor are magnificent and full of little breaks in different places which allowed us to spend a very enriching day and shared with pleasure with Helen who has a smile and joy of life. We recommend this excursion.

Jackie was an outstanding guide! The tour started bright and early and not a minute was wasted the whole day. From the pancake rocks to the Brunner Mine Ruin, Jackie’s local knowledge was added an extra layer to all locations. The food and beer experience was delicious. You couldn’t get more local than the Westport Pie Company and Shortjaw Brewery. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Conor and Catarina

Great tour. Thank you very much. Could see the most spectacular views of the westcoast. Got lots of information about the region, the country and the history. Both tastings were great as well. Perfect day - thank you so much

I loved the small group, we were only three plus Jackie, our Guide. She knew so many interesting things about nature, land and people. I enjoyed the Trip very much! Absolutely worth it and recommendable. Thank you, Jackie
