I took this tour on 20th of October. It is considered to be off-season, but still sunny with warm sea so perfect for swimming and sunbathing without the crazy crowds. Safe to say our time in Matala beach was really great. If you’re visiting the island in late October, you should definitely book this tour as south part seems to be warmer than Heraklion or any other northern part. Gortyn is a small archeological site and 1 hour break there seems a bit redundant, but I guess it makes sense when tour group is large and there could be other people at the same time -things may get hectic if everyone wants to use the bathroom or have some snacks all at once. I saw some comments on tour guide narrating in a few foreign languages - although it’s not ideal for the listeners, there may be different age groups with different backgrounds so I understand that it’s about the value proposition the tour provides and I’m sure some people are actually happy that they have such option.

There were only two of us and we were able to enjoy the tour to the fullest with a great guide who knew the sites perfectly and gave us complete and very interesting explanations. The driver was friendly and efficient.

Very efficient, nice and to the point, 2 hours were missing .. because it was so wonderful but we will come back! 🇬🇷 and the application did not disappoint me once again! Thank you

We had an excellent time on this trip. Our guide (Angeliki) was informative and friendly, and we had just the right amount of time at each site. Would 100% recommend!

Great trip. Comfortable bus and the guide was fantastic! Perfect day out!
