What to Expect
Explore the colonial churches of Old Goa, including Se Cathedral, the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, and the notable Basilica of Bom Jesus, where the relics of the patron saint of Goa, Saint Francis Xavier, are kept in an ornate casket.

Begin the 6-hour tour at the Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to 1605. India’s first minor basilica, it is considered one of the best examples of baroque architecture in the country. Continue to Se Cathedral, dedicated to Catherine of Alexandria. One of the oldest and most celebrated religious buildings in Goa, this cathedral is also one of the largest churches in Asia and houses the large “Golden Bell” in its tower.

Next, you will drive to Panaji to wander the narrow streets of the Latin quarter of the Bairro das Fontainhas. Revealing much evidence of how Goa looked during Portuguese rule, admire the famous statue of the Abbé Faria trying to hypnotize a woman.

Drive to the Dona Paula Jetty, where romance and myth mix with the salty sea breeze and views of the Arabian Sea. You can then end your tour with an optional lunch at the O’Coqueiro Restaurant, and tuck in to superb Portuguese and Goan cuisine.
