Full description
From Glasgow we travel north towards the Scottish highlands. Our first stop is for a cup of tea or coffee at a café on the shores of Loch Lomond. We then climb up into the Highlands over the unique, desolate landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to Glencoe, site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan. After lunch at Fort William, we continue beneath Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis and into the Great Glen. As well as the Caledonian Canal, and the pretty village of Fort Augustus, you can enjoy spectacular views of Loch Ness. At Loch Ness, you can explore Urquhart Castle and take a Jacobite cruise, or relax in Dochgarroch. We begin our return journey from Inverness, Capital of the Highlands. Before arriving back on Glasgow, we will cross the Grampian Mountains and the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Drive through the scenic views of highlands, pit stops for photos and to take a moment to feel the beautiful nature around us made the trip memorable. Driver, Andy, made the trip more pleasurable with his commentary and funny jokes. All in all, it was a great and memorable trip. Huge thanks to the organisers.

Wonderful tour guide and there were several opportunities to stop for photos. Unfortunately we were unable to go on the boat tour or the castle tour due to weather (and a fallen tree in the road). We made do with what we had and it was still a fun trip filled with beautiful scenery.

They did everything as promised, picked us up on time, the tour was great, the van in excellent state, the driver told us a lot of things that he had memorized. I would propose a few things to make the tour even better: 1. The big stop at midday (approximately 12 am) was at a place that didn't have anything interesting to see, besides a river and some shops for tourists. 2. I would really enjoy one stop at Inverness, it was a pity that we only got to drive through it. 3. The stop at Pitlochry was too little for anything, just 30min. Too long for just a stop for photos and a brief walk, too little for enjoying the place and maybe sit and have a cup of tea or shop sth. 4. The stop at Pitlochry was at 5 pm, a time when most shops were closed. 5. The driver provided us with some information, but I found some of them uninteresting to me. Celebrities that were born here and there, some buildings in the city of no historic value. I'd like more soul, stories, a bit of storytelling.
