Full description

From Glasgow, travel north towards the Scottish highlands. The first stop is for a cup of tea or coffee at a café on the shores of Loch Lomond. Climb up into the Highlands over the unique, desolate landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to Glencoe, the site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan. After lunch in the Fort William area, continue beneath Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, and into the Great Glen. At Loch Ness, take aN optional 1-hour cruise on the loch or enjoy the beautiful views at its shores.

Before arriving back in Glasgow, cross the Grampian Mountains and the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl.

Scotland is always beautiful scenery any time of year, done similar trips and is just fascinating every time, just wish you could have more time to spend in the villages or places in tour…this time an elderly person came with us and it was just perfect for slow walking with a cane… it is always a must to go on tour

We loved our tour, and we’re planning to book again for a longer trip. We enjoyed our tour guide’s commentary and the occasional (recorded) song that helped contextualise key historic events. The small coaches were comfortable, with large windows for excellent views. We appreciated the communication from the provider and the guide team across both buses on our trip, and the team did their best to provide a great trip even though we faced issues with road closures. We recommend you take heed of the important info on timing and punctuality! Other passengers not being on time was the most annoying thing about the trip.

The trip was amazing with an absolutely magnificent scenery to enjoy. There were several stops on the trip with the opportunity to go to the toilet and to photograph the beautiful environment. Possibly that the lunch stop of 1 hour was a little too short to have time to find food and enjoy it.
