What people are saying about Girona

Overall rating

Our group consisted of three adults and five teens ranging from 13-18. We booked this tour as a final day trip at the end of our two-week Christmas trip through Spain and Italy. This was a fantastic tour - I cannot say enough positive things about it. Our guide, Gaspar, was so knowledgeable and eloquent. We walked away from the Dali museum with a real appreciation for the artist. Gaspar was sensitive to providing the right level of detail and he captured even those who were not Dali fans prior to the trip. The trip to Gerona was equally appealing. The town is amazing and Gaspar gave us all a real sense for the long history of the city. It was very moving to think of the all of the people who have walked the streets throughout ancient history. (Bonus if you are a Game of Thrones fa - much of Season 6 was filmed here.). Do this tour and request Gaspar if you can. You won’t be sorry.

Sergio - our tour guide - was very professional, kind and funny at times. He would explain all the details and even recommend where to eat and what to order based on experience and the resto’s specialty. He was a good photographer too. And he suggested other places we could visit in Barcelona. Overall, it’s a day tour you cannot miss especially if you’re a Game of Thrones fan then this is for you. The combination of places we visited were astonishing. I would definitely recommend this tour with Sergio!

Matt is an excellent guide. The tour went smoothly with some free time allocated to explore the sites. Highly recommended!!

Gaspar was the best tour guide we could have asked for. Took us to so many beautiful spots and the BEST lunch in Girona
