Although there was a lot of driving the tour was just as advertised. The Pretour of downtown Houston made the most of the area and showed the main areas. The Galveston driver was polite and entertaining. They drop the NASA people off first then give you a chance to see the coast then the bishops house before some time to yourself before dolphin watching. Surprisingly we actually saw dolphins and plenty of them with the captain being funny and circling back so we could see more dolphins. The staff at all points of contact were unbelievably helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help. Galveston was a lot bigger than expected but was great to see. The mix of shops on the strand made for great exploring.

A great day, although not quite what was advertised.

In the end we had *one hour* in Galveston to sightsee at our own pace *and* to have lunch. However, we did get to see lots of Houston I would have otherwise missed, and we did stop for 15 minutes or so on the beach front of Galveston which was wild and windy, and we did go on a boat trip and got to see pods of dolphins. It's just a matter of marrying up the programme description to the actuality of the outcome.

A wonderful adventure for our family. Tons of information. Everyone was very pleasant.
