Hike around beautiful scenery and go on an exciting Jeep tour.
What to Expect
Leaving from Funchal go to the west of the island, until you get to Paul da Serra (Rabaçal) in Calheta. At this point the most famous and popular Madeira Levada Walk begins; the Levada of 25 Fontes, which owes its name to the waterfalls that come from Paul da Serra , which appear from within the rocks, creating a lagoon and a beautiful landscape.
After the spectacular Levada go to Pico da Urze for lunch in a typical Madeiran restaurant (not included). Then continue the tour from Paul da Serra to Ponta do Sol, off-road, which will take about one hour. Afterwards make a stop at the village of Ponta do Sol, to observe the south coast.
Make another stop at the viewpoint of Ribeira Brava, where you will see the famous riverside that gives the town its name. Finally, travel to the highest cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world, Cabo Girão, with approximately 580 meters before returning to Funchal.
