    Educational and Fun

Our guide (I think her name was Malika) was funny, informative, and had some great anecdotes to share about events both silly and spine-tingling that have happened throughout the jumbled up history of the French Quarter. Her explanation of the vampire legend had everybody grinning, even though the truth is just as macabre as the legend. Great tour, highly recommended.

Great tour with some interesting information on the neighborhood, the people and the times. We had a guide named Lee who is knowledgeable, entertaining and tells stories in a way you want to listen. Been on many tours and many lose my interest immediately. Lee didn’t do that and we had a great time hearing the stories.

We enjoyed our tour very much. The VooDoo lounge is a cool place. The BOGO hurricanes were tasty and also gave us a nice souvenir cup to take home. We purchased our tickets online and picked up our wrist bands in person. Parking can be difficult so go early. Once outside we organized into our groups by band color with a guide. After a few rules we were off. I’m sure I will mis-pronounce our guides name, I believe her name was Rodijia? She lead the group on 8/2/19 at 8 p.m. with light blue bands. She did an awesome job. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She spoke at a volume that allowed us to hear well. We walked at a brisk but manageable pace. The stories she shared were entertaining as well as informative. Stories of the crab lady were sad. Our tour didn’t end right back at the VooDoo lounge so clarify if needed. Our guide lead us back which was very nice of her. I would recommend this tour to friends and family.
