Full description
Transfer from Foz do Iguaçu on the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls, stopping on route to exchange your money into Argentinean pesos for the entrance fee to Iguazu National Park. Get a brief explanation of the itinerary from the Portuguese, Spanish and English-speaking guide. Upon arrival in Cataratas your guide will direct you to the 3 available walking circuits. Walk approximately 300 meters to the central station and board the train to Devil's Throat Station (or Union Fall). Experience the might of the largest waterfall at 78 meters, and marvel at the enormous volume of water on the 2-kilometer round-trip hike. Return to Cataratas Station to access the Upper Circuit. Here, the walk of over 1,400 meters is a flat and easy trek through the subtropical forest of Iguazu National Park. Rest for a few minutes, as the next circuit requires a bit more physical effort. This trail is nearly 2 kilometers long with a high degree of difficulty due to the steps throughout the path. Get a view from inside the canyon of the Iguazu River, and watch the mighty cascades of the waterfalls from below. Return to your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu at the end of your total 6-hour hike.

Excellent service and organised trip. Our guide Claudio was very friendly, extremely efficient at border control and informative on local flora and forna. I would highly recommend this trip if you are on a tight timescale and need to visit the Argentinian side of the falls when staying in Foz do Iguaçu, but only have a single day to spare. All the transport and timings are taken care of, we were promptly picked up from our guest house accomodation and returned in good time between 5 - 6pm so that we could catch our bus the same evening. Once inside the park and directed to the trails, we were unguided and able explore on our own.

What an fantastic incredible day out. From the moment we were picked up at 7:30am to the time were dropped off at 19:00pm we felt like we were on a private tour even though we were in a group of ten. The Argentinean falls are a sight to behold and all of the trekking and the train journeys we did all added to the experience. Antonio our guide was magnificent speaking perfect English to us but also conversing with the other party members including Dutch and German.
