What to Expect
The Oltrarno quarter of Florence has been home to many of the city’s artisan workshops since medieval times.
On this 3-hour tour you’ll walk along the typical Tuscan streets and through the characteristic piazzas, where you can still feel the atmosphere of ancient times.
With your guide you’ll follow a route that takes you through the districts of San Frediano, and also Santo Spirito, where Michelangelo discovered his passion for art.
Climb up to Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the best possible view of the city and to visit the Church of San Miniato, famous for the ice cream made by the monks as well as one of the few churches where it is still possible to hear Gregorian chants.
