Overview
Enjoy a guided, 3-hour tour of two unique Florence attractions: the Bardini Museum and Casa Siviero. See Stefano Bardini's collection of artworks from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance. View masterpieces rescued by Rodolfo Siviero, the "007 of art".
What to Expect
Experience two lesser-known chapters in the rich artistic heritage of Florence on this 3-hour private tour of the House Museum of Rodolfo Siviero and the Bardini Museum.

In the House Museum of Rodolfo Siviero, you'll learn all about the man known as the 007 of art. Rodolfo Siviero lived during the Second World War, and is responsible for the recovery of most of Italy's artistic heritage from wartime plundering. Here you will see works from every major period of art history, all rescued by Siviero.

You'll then be taken to the Bardini Museum, home of the famous Florentine antique dealer of the 1800s. The collection of the Bardini Museum comprises not only sculptures, paintings, furniture pieces, ceramic pieces and tapestries, but also fragments of the old center of Florence, salvaged by Stefano Bardini before its destruction. The building itself is remarkable for its use of doors, windows, and moldings of old fragments originally belonging to ruined churches and villas. The ceilings are magnificent examples of Venetian and Tuscan woodwork ranging from the 15th to the 17th centuries.

With these two museums, you'll receive a deeper appreciation of the artistic legacy of Florence.
