What to Expect
Enjoy a unique opportunity to dine in one of San Gimignano’s medieval towers on this 3-hour program from either Florence or Siena. The Useppi Tower, built in 1280, is located in Piazza del Duomo in this world-renowned town in the heart of Tuscany.
The Useppi were politicians at the Court of Ladislaus, knights of the Order of the Dragon, diplomats at the court of Emperor Ferdinando III, and ambassadors of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany during the reign of Ferdinando II.
The tower is surrounded by the town’s most important buildings, including the imposing Cathedral Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta, the Podestà Palace, and the Town Hall. When you arrive at the dinner venue, you’ll be welcomed by the beautiful voice of a lyric soprano accompanied by a harp.
You’ll be served dinner in the tower’s private lounge, and enjoy typical Tuscan specialties as well as contemporary International dishes, all prepared with the finest ingredients. The dishes on this special menu will be accompanied by tastings of different wines.
